“Dear Friends,
I just spent four days in the hospital, dealing with my cancer and my G.I. issues. I realize now that my expectations for returning to the practice tee are unrealistic. I need to focus on my recovery. I thought I was, but unfortunately, I got an infection and my numbers deteriorated rapidly. So, I’m basically giving up teaching and playing until I finally reach my last chemo.
I’ve received so many good wishes from you guys and I can’t tell you what a lift that gives me. If you received a gift certificate, I’ll be glad to send you a refund check. Send me a text and I’ll send you my address and we’ll get it done. Thanks for your prayers.
